‘Songs That Saved My Life Vol. 2’ drop State Champs cover, album details
State Champs released a new cover along with music video today. The cover is of Matchbox Twenty’s “Real World”.
State Champs, along with many others are contributors to the second volume of Songs That Saved My Life—Hopeless Records and their non-profit organization’s Sub City compilation to benefit mental health and suicide prevention organizations.

Accompanying the song is a music video that is very similar to the original by Matchbook Twenty. Check it out below.

The music video similarities aren’t anything new; Neck Deep did the same thing on the past Songs That Saved My Life compilation.
Just like last year, the compilation is abundant with big names. Some of the most notable acts are Silverstein, Mayday Parade, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Doll Skin.
Silverstein is covering “Disarm” by The Smashing Pumpkins and Doll Skin is giving their take of “Shake It Out” by Florence + the Machine. Both bands’ announcement tweets can be seen below.
