1. State Champs debuted their new music video for “Losing Myself.”

First appearing on MTV’s Snapchat discover page, State Champs have now made their new video available to the world, and it’s a pop-punk masterpiece. The video showcases the members working at a water and amusement park called “Waldo’s World,” and presents a quirky narrative of what goes on there. Check out the whole video below.

2. And another awesome video! Simple Plan premiered one of their sweetest to date with “Perfectly Perfect.”

Simple Plan put out a their latest video earlier today, and it will probably fill your heart with a whole lot of love. The black and white music video begins with a number of couples explaining the different ways in which they met their lover, and goes on to show them embracing their significant other tenderly as Pierre Bouvier delivers the soulful tune. “Most of us in the band are now married or in long term relationships and this song was definitely inspired by that,” a statement from Bouvier says. 3. Hangout Music Fest announced their jam-packed 2017 lineup.

Over the years, Hangout has been known to feature a multitude of different artists, and they’ve continued that trend this year. Twenty One Pilots are just one of the headliners, and other notable acts from our scene include Weezer, Franz Ferdinand, Pvris, and Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. 4. According to Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters are in a “hunker down period.”

In a recent interview with NME, the Foo Fighters’ drummer says the band will write a new record at some point, but it will be when the entire group is ready. He claims they are in a “hunker down period” before they hit their European shows next summer, but will act when they believe “the world’s ready for more Foo Fighters.”

5. Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler is teasing something

In a tweet posted by Adler yesterday, he states, “Something really big is happening. Stay tuned…” Then again today, he revealed in another tweet that his surprise will be revealed tomorrow, along with the hashtag #AGB. We can assume this will be his work with a new side project, but we’ll have to wait to find out!
