Stone Sour's new album 'Hydrograd' crushes the charts

Stone Sour hit their fifth consecutive Top 10 chart entry on the “Billboard 200” this week, debuting at #1 on three Billboard charts including “Top Current Albums,” “Top Rock Albums,” and “Top Hard Rock Albums.”

Hydrograd debuted at #8 on the “Billboard 200,” #5 in the U.K, #2 in Australia and managed to hit Top 5 in Germany, Japan, and Switzerland.

“We're blown away by the reception of the album, especially balancing albums sold with our surge in streams” said frontman Corey Taylor. “We poured our hearts into this—the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. This week also marks a fourth straight week at #1 at Active Rock Radio for Hydrograd's lead single, “Song #3.” That makes a fourth #1 single for the band and an eighth Top 5 single at the format. The official music video for “Song #3” has received over 3 million views on YouTube while pulling in 4.7 million streams on Spotify.

Stone Sour recently released a new performance video for their chart topping single, an acoustic version which you can check out below.
