During a radio interview with Atlanta's Rock 100.5 this morning, Creed singer Scott Stapp mentioned a new unnamed band he's recently started working with, which was then interpreted to be Stone Temple Pilots. The interview was in support of a new solo solo tour, marking Stapp's second official tour following his public psychotic break back in 2014.
While Stone Temple Pilots are in search of a new singer following the loss of their frontman Scott Weiland, the rumor was quickly refuted by the band on social media. You can read the band's own statement on the matter below.
Despite recent comments, Scott Stapp is not, nor has he ever been considered as the singer for STP.
