Stop Me If You've Heard This One: The Smiths reunion rumor squashed (again)

And as fast as the internet can make a rumor explode, it can be destroyed just as instantly. This morning, a rep for Morrissey told the Rolling Stone these exact words regarding the most recent Smiths-reunion debacle: “The Smiths are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to reunite – ever.”

To add to it, Johnny Marr's camp is denying it equally as much saying, “It isn't happening. We are fully focussed on preparing Johnny's new album for release and booking shows for 2013.”

Dead in the water. Again.
