'Straight Outta Compton' tops box office in its second weekend

N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is doing very well in theaters. So well in fact, that the now week-old film beat out every new release this week and took the number one spot in the weekend box office.

For its second weekend, Straight Outta Compton pulled in $26.8 million, 56% down from its $60.2 million domestic opening, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Compton beats out Sinister 2, Hitman: Agent 47 and American Ultra, all of which premiered this weekend to disappointing numbers.
