On Saturday, Harbour announced possibly the only good news of 2018: he actually married that lucky Twitter couple. To make things even better, he dressed in his Hopper attire while officiating the ceremony.

This winter, Twitter user @ErikaElizabth asked the beloved Chief Hopper to marry her and her partner come September. Harbor quoted the tweet and agreed to officiate the wedding upon the tweet getting 125k retweets. The actor also had a few other super-doable terms and conditions.

Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony,” Harbour said. “I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece.”

Fast forward seven months and David Harbour took to Twitter again to share that he had come through with his promise. Let’s just hope he got the first piece of cake.

Congrats to the newlyweds. We’re definitely not crying or anything.

Stranger Things will return for a season three summer 2019. The darkest season yet has already begun production and promises fans many new twists and turns.
