Announced in a teaser posted to the show’s official Twitter account, Stranger Things has finally shared the episode titles for the upcoming season.

What’s more? The end of the trailer also revealed that the show is coming sometime in 2019, but an official release date further than that has not been revealed.

In any case, we’re beyond stoked for the new information!

Check out the episode titles below:

  1. “Suzie, Do You Copy?”
  2. “The Mall Rats”
  3. “The Case Of The Missing Life Guard”
  4. “The Sauna Test”
  5. “The Source”
  6. “The Birthday”
  7. “The Bite”
  8. “The Battle Of Starcourt”

In addition to unveiling the episode titles, fans attending the pop culture festival, CCXP, in Brazil this past weekend were in for a major treat when a preview of the upcoming season was shown.

As noted by comicbook.com, Collider’s Steve Weintraub was one of the guests in attendance, and he took to Twitter to share what he was able to see from the trailer:

“[Netflix] just world premiered the teaser for [Stranger Things] 3 at . The teaser had a few short sentences in it but it was all in Portuguese so no idea what it said. The teaser ends with coming in 2019 and the 3 in the middle of the logo like 2.”

Stranger Things 3, what we know so far:

In a recent interview with De Telegraff, Gaten Matarazzo (who plays Dustin Henderson in the series) recently clarified that the show isn’t over just yet. In fact, it appears that we’ve got another season or two (or more) before the show finishes completely.

“I know that [creators] Matt and Ross [Duffer], their goal is not to go as many seasons as possible,” Matarazzo said. “It’s to go until they finish their story, and I’ve heard the magic number is either four or five. We just finished up three – three is not the last one planned.”

It was recently revealed in an 80’s style commercial that the show will be getting a new hang out spot for the kids and teens of Hawkins, Indiana.

The new spot will be a mall called Starcourt Mall, where you’ll find the “cool kids” frequenting, and judging from the season finale’s title, it’s going to have some intense scenes located there!

It was also reported that the show is set to be “much darker” than in previous seasons (possibly due to that horror-inspiration comment)

According to the show’s producer Shawn Levy, the show will go to some darker places than we’ve seen:

“[It’s] definitely going to get darker still, places that I think audiences are going to really love,” Levy revealed. “It’s got so much heart and humor.”

We also know that the cast will be adding three new characters into the Hawkins mix—an “alternative girl,” Cary Elwes playing the Hawkins mayor, a “handsome, slick and sleazy” ’80s politician and Jake Busey playing a local journalist with “questionable morals.”

As previously reported, the show’s producers recently shared that Season 3 will take place during the summer of 1985, a year after Season 2. Plus, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), as well as Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink), will begin the season as couples.

The best news, though? Producer and director Shawn Levy tells fans that Steve (Joe Keery) will have a bigger role in Season 3—and dad Steve is BACK.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, David Harbour teased that the show will be taking some inspiration from some “great films” that were released in 1985.

“If you’re a real fan of Stranger Things and you really want to know,” Harbour said. “I would go look at the great films that were released in ’85, of which there were many, and just go down that list and think of the possibilities that we could be going with. I think it is a specific season to 1985, and so you’ll see references to that.”

The third season of Stranger Things is set to debut sometime in 2019.
