'Stranger Things' snuck a 'Queer Eye' cameo in Season 3

We’re all very excited about the new season of Stranger Things but while everyone has been obsessing over the plot, some noticed a fun cameo early in the season.

Digital Spy points out that Queer Eye‘s William Mahnken makes an appearance in an episode of the show.

Mahnken appeared in Queer Eye‘s second season as a socially anxious Walmart employee in Georgia who had the Fab 5 help organise his life.

In the new season of Stranger Things, he makes an appearance in the premiere episode as one of the Hawkins Post editors. His character is alongside Bruce (Jake Busey) when Nancy (Natalia Dyer) takes a shot at pitching a story at her new job at the newspaper.

He makes a second appearance with his wife when Hopper (David Harbour) gets stood up at a restaurant. In case you haven’t seen his Queer Eye episode, he gets some help with his marriage proposal which has clearly gone well since then with their appearance in the show together.

Mahnken is well known for his episode on Queer Eye but he’s also an actor. He’s previously appeared in the film Logan Lucky as well as two episodes of The Walking Dead. On top of that, he also made an appearance in Stranger Things season 2 as an arcade attendant.
