We're obsessed with the 8-bit 'Stranger Things' game

There is a new, official Stranger Things game in the App Store, and it is everything we didn't know we needed. Check it out below!

The new game is an 8-bit moblie game in which you play as characters from the show and do stuff in their universe like eating waffles and running from the authorities, complete with what we're sure will be an amazing 8-bit soundtrack. It literally looks like a retro Pokemon game, but with all the spooky aesthetic of Stranger Things. Check out the trailer for the game below!

Clearly, we're never going to be able to focus on anything ever again once we download this game, so play at your own risk, pals. The game can be downloaded for Apple here and Android here. And the best part? The game is free.

Season 2 of Stranger Things will be coming to Netflix just in time for the spooky season on October 27. We'll probably just be playing this game non-stop until then.
