Stream Kurt Cobain's early, brooding version of "Sappy" from upcoming solo album

Kurt Cobain’s solo album, Montage Of Heck: The Home Recordings, will be released November 13, alongside the DVD debut of Brett Morgen’s documentary on the Nirvana frontman. The LP’s first taste, an early version of Nirvana’s “Sappy,” can be heard below. The track later found its way onto the 1993 AIDS-benefit album, No Alternative. It was re-titled “Verse Chorus Verse.”

The song is also set to appear on an upcoming seven-inch vinyl, which will feature Cobain’s long-lost Beatles cover, “And I Love Her.”
