Taco Bell has a new menu item coming, and Mark Hoppus will be stoked

That's right, Taco Bell is adding the one food fave that’s missing from the menu: French fries. And we feel like we have to thank Mark Hoppus for this—at least just a little bit.

Back in October, Hoppus shared a hot take, saying that Taco Bell is better than Del Taco, but Del Taco has French fries, making it a “real Sophie’s Choice of fast food.”

However, Taco Bell gave us all hope with their sneaky reply: “That just might change soon, Mark.”

And it is changing, with the fast food restaurant finally adding fries to the menu, as of January 25, as Eater.com reports.

Eater explains that the fries are coated in a “bold Mexican seasoning,” and each order will come with a side of nacho cheese sauce—all for $1.

Plus, Eater also explains that the fries can be ordered “Supreme” for $2.49 or “Bell Grande” for $3.49, and each order adds such delectable things as ground beef, pico de gallo, nacho cheese and/or sour cream.

Yep, we're stoked. In the words of Hoppus himself, “Huge if true!!”

And this is huge.
