Taking Back Sunday cancel dates following birth of Adam Lazzara's son

Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara's wife unexpectedly went into labor last night, forcing the group to cancel their planned performance in Madison, Wis.

Following the birth of Lazzara's son, the band have announced two additional cancelations: tomorrow, Oct. 22, in Des Moines, Iowa, and Wednesday, Oct. 23, in Omaha, Neb. The tour is expected to resume Friday, Oct. 25, in Melbourne, Fla.

Check out a statement from the band:

“We are sorry to announce that Taking Back Sunday must cancel the next two dates of the fall tour in Des Moines, IA (10/22) and Omaha, NE (10/23).

Polar Bear Club and Transit will still be playing at Wooly's on 10/22. Doors will open at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm. Tickets will be $12.

Adam's wife unexpectedly went into early labor this Sunday and we are happy to announce that they welcomed a baby boy! It is important for Adam to be with his family at this time. Everyone appreciates all of the support and love that you all have shown. We will be back to play in these cities as soon as possible. Tickets can be refunded at point-of-purchase.
