Taking Back Sunday play secret show in New York—watch

Taking Back Sunday surprised local Long Island area fans on Wednesday night, July 12, with a secret show at the 300-capacity Long Beach Inn in Long Beach, New York. Watch some footage of the intimate, surprise TBS gig below!

Currently on tour (the band play the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchagoue, New York, tonight, July 13), the members of Taking Back Sunday apparently decided to play the last-minute show just for fun. TBS drummer Mark O'Connell and bassist Shaun Cooper were reportedly familiar with the venue, tabbing it as the ideal location for an off-the-cuff concert.

The band announced the surprise gig at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday via Facebook, with the venue quickly maxing out on capacity for the show. Check out the rest of the group's summer 2017 tour dates after the live video.
