Taylor Swift's '1989' will be absent from Apple Music

Apple Music, the new streaming service from the tech giant just found one more similarity to Spotify's streaming service – it won't include the latest Taylor Swift album at launch.

Taylor Swift publically removed her entire catalogue from Spotify last year, immediately prior to the release of her hotly-anticipated record 1989. All of Swift's music remains intact on Apple's current iTunes store, so many believed that the catalogue would carry over into the new launch of Apple Music. Unfortunately, while all albums prior to 1989 will be present on Apple Music, Swift's latest will still be unavailable to stream, according to a report from Buzzfeed.
