Teen unknowingly shares rare pictures of Nirvana's first show

19-year-old Maggie Poukkula recently shared some pictures of her dad playing with Nirvana during their early days. Little did she know, however, that this was Nirvana's earliest day, as the pics were of the band's first show, which took place on a Saturday night in March 1987. Since sharing the photos, she has broken the internet and been reported on by Rolling Stone, MTV and various other outlets (via The A.V. Club).

“I had no idea that those were during Nirvana’s first concert,” Poukkula openly tells Rolling Stone. “My dad showed me them a while back, but he never mentioned that’s what was going on in the photos. I found out because of all the articles. I didn’t realize it was such a historical thing. I thought they were just cool pictures of my dad and Kurt jamming together.”
