Teens react to Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”

In the video below, teens were asked to break down the lyrics of Nirvana’s mega-hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit” without being told the song title or artist. To be fair, while they don’t all recognize the song, they do offer some pretty decent analysis on the lyrics. “Is this a Kanye West song?” one teen asks.

One girl eventually gets it as she reads the lyrics: “I feel stupid and contagious. Here we are now. Entertain… Wait. Wait! Wait! Is this ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ by Nirvana?!” Check out the video below, and let us know your thoughts.
