Previously, we reported that the 1975’s record label Dirty Hit was asking for couples to appear in an upcoming the 1975 music video. Whether that is “Me & You Together Song” is unconfirmed but there sure are a lot of couples in the video.

“Me & You Together Song” will appear on their forthcoming album Notes On A Conditional FormThe album was due out on Feb. 21, but had to be pushed back to April. 24 because it isn’t quite ready yet.

In the video we see a wonderful set of bedrooms and a basement reminding us of every house party we ever went to. It really adds to the feeling of romanticism. We all remember spotting our crush from across the dance floor or spilling or beers because you’re crashing over a coffee table or even the first kiss shared with the one you love while you’re trying to stay quiet in a separate room.  The 1975 captures all of these moments perfectly in their new video. Watch it below.

If you love the 1975, bring your significant other to their stacked tour this Spring. Tickets went on sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 24 here.

As an added bonus, one dollar from each ticket sold will go to One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that plants trees all over the world to fight climate change, protect biodiversity, empower communities and restore our planet. Their aim is to reforest the planet, one tree at a time.

More the 1975

The 1975 had to cancel a festival headlining performance due to frontman Matty Healy having to deal with some health concerns.

Now, the frontman has given an update on his condition and the band’s upcoming shows.

The band were set to play Laneway Festival in Brisbane, Australia on Saturday, but canceled just hours before their set.

“Unfortunately after a medical examination at 5.30pm today the doctor has advised that Matty is too weak to play,” the band sand. “We hope to be back on track for tomorrow’s show in Sydney.”

Healy quote-tweeted the announcement, saying jokes about people saying he had coronavirus were not funny.

He also shared an update and thanked fans for the well wishes. He also confirmed that the band would play the same festival on Sunday night.

“I am alive and well shit just got way too vibey I’m still taking it easy but I’ll see you tonight,” Matty Healy wrote.

The following night, the band performed and Healy donned a hospital gown during his set, which seemed pretty fitting. He even came out with an IV drip. You can see some images of that below.
