The 1975 fans can be in their new music video—here’s how to apply

The 1975 are set to drop their new album Notes On A Conditional Form on Feb. 21. Now though, the band is looking for couples to be in a music video for an unannounced single.

The 1975 released three songs in 2019. “People,” “Frail State Of Mind” and “The 1975”. The latter features a monologue by climate activist Greta Thunberg.

The 1975’s label Dirty Hit sent out a tweet requesting people to submit some information and a picture of themselves and their partner. The label says they’re shooting in London on Jan. 18 and are searching for couples to star in the video.

“We’re filming a new @the1975 video in London on 18th January. We’re looking for couples to be a part of the video, if you’d like to be involved please email your name, address, age and a photo of you and your other half to [email protected]

We don’t have any idea about what the song is titled. Given the fact they’re asking for couples, we can assume the subject matter may be romantic.

More The 1975

The 1975 and their label Dirty Hit just announced a change of plans. The European tour scheduled in the Spring is now rescheduled. The dates will now take place in October. The reason cited is to allow more time to finish their upcoming album Notes On A Conditional Form, due out Feb. 21.

The 1975 and Dirty Hit took to Instagram to, unfortunately, announce the postponement of some of the European dates for their upcoming tour. The reasoning behind it, however, is a valid one. The 1975 wishes to provide the best performances and product with Notes On A Conditional Form.

Due to the time needed to complete the recording of the upcoming album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ we have made the decision to move The 1975’s EU tour from February 2020 to October 2020.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that everyone can make the new shows.

We understand that this will be a cause of upset but rest assured the delay will make for the best shows possible.

Thanks in advance for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you in October. All original tickets remain valid. For all those who cannot make the new dates you will be able to get refunds at your original point of purchase.
