After sending fans into a freakout over the deactivation of their social media accounts, rumors began to circulate regarding the next era.

Yesterday, the band unveiled the first track from their forthcoming record, Notes on a Conditional Form. Per the band’s tradition, the track is titled “The 1975.”

The track features teen climate activist Greta Thunberg’s moving speech overtop of some melodic music.

Now, according to Apple Music, the 22-track album is expected to be released Feb. 21, 2020.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, the band also updated their website with a countdown for a potential new song called, “People.”

Back in May, vocalist Matty Healy dropped what might be a potential teaser for this new track.
