The 1975 are gearing up for the release of their album Notes On A Conditional Form which is due out April 24. Previously, the band had to reschedule their European tour to allow more time to work on the album. Well now, it’s North America’s turn to feel that pain.

The 1975 took to social media on March 18 to announce the news.

It is with great regret that we have to reschedule the 1975’s upcoming North America headline tour for the health and safety of our fans and crew.

We are in the process of scheduling the new shows and will be announcing as soon a possible.

Please hold on to your tickets, they will be honoured for the new dates when we have them. We will continue to keep you posted on future shows. We hope you are all keeping well & safe.

With love, the 1975 & Dirty Hit

The news follows an increased event capacity ban and recommendations. On Sunday, the CDC recommended events with more than 50 people scheduled over the next 8 weeks be postponed, which would fall at about May 10. Trump also made public a set of guidelines to hopefully stop the spread of the virus urging people to stay home and restrict gatherings to no more than 10.
