You can visit the actual house from ‘The Conjuring’ from your own couch
If you’ve ever wanted to see the house from The Conjuring for yourself, the coronavirus pandemic isn’t going to stop anyone from getting to do so as the owners are offering virtual tours for a week straight.
Along with The Dark Zone Network, the owners are offering an interactive tour of the house in May.

The Rhode Island property will be available for 24/7 livestreaming between May 9 and May 16.
The house is being “rigged with multiple cameras so the audience will have a completely immersive experience.”
The Heinzens, who own the house, will “conduct paranormal investigations, seances, Ouija board sessions and invite some of the most well-known and respected luminaries in the paranormal community to pop in remotely and share their most bone-chilling experiences from the house.”
24 hour viewing sessions can be booked for $4.99 and if you want to get in on the action for the entire week, you can do so for $19.99. A portion of the proceeds will also be going towards a charity focused on COVID-19 relief efforts.
If you’re not wanting to shell out cash for the livestream event, a free preview is being made available on May 8 at 8 PM ET. Discounted prices are also being made available on Friday (May 1).
The house is said to still be haunted as the film was based on real life events.
The owners of the home where the film takes place spoke with Sun Journal last summer saying they believed it was actually haunted.
“We had doors opening, footsteps and knocks,” new owner Cory Heinzen explained. “I’ve had a hard time staying there by myself. I don’t have the feeling of anything evil, [but] it’s very busy. You can tell there’s a lot of things going on in the house.”
“This whole journey has been both scary—for many reasons other than paranormal—and exciting all at once,” Jennifer Heinzen added. “I love that we have the opportunity to share the home with others.”

More on The Conjuring
The third instalment of the franchise is officially titled The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The film should be arriving this fall barring any delays relating to production issues.
According to screenwriter David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick though, it’s going to offer a new idea for the series. They’re breaking away from the typical haunted house themes according to his comments.
In a thread where he answered questions on Twitter, he gave his response to building the franchise into something bigger.
During the Q&A session, he answered a question mostly regarding famed horror director James Wan’s upcoming film Malignant saying he wasn’t extensively involved but drops some interesting news about the new Conjuring film.
I was not extensively involved in “Malignant” — all I can say is that you should see it as soon as you have a chance.
C3 is a completely different movie than the first two. The franchise is expanding beyond the “haunted house” formula.

Production studio New Line Cinema describes the plot which you can read below and it does indeed sound like a break away from a typical haunted house film.
