The Damned Things announced they will be hitting the road this spring for some “gosh darn tour dates” and we couldn’t be more excited.

The rock supergroup released a video for their first single off the album High Crimes called “Cells.”

The Damned Things recently revealed a new lineup comprised of  Every Time I Die‘s Keith Buckley, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out BoyAnthrax guitar god Scott Ian and  Alkaline Trio bassist Dan Andriano.

The album will be released April 26 and is the band’s follow up to their 2009 debut Ironiclast.

“Normally, when career bands say they made a record for fun, they didn’t — but we actually did. Maybe that’s why this band doesn’t have a career?” Trohman said in a statement. “Anyway, we’re genuinely proud of it. Check it out, and watch the video to see how severely injured we got during the process!”

You can listen to “Cells” below.

Now, it looks like The Damned Things are taking this fun on the road, announcing a tour with Greber and He Is Legend as support.

“Oh look, here are some gosh darn tour dates,” the band writes on their Instagram post.
