Back in November 2015, the band were involved in a serious bus accident that claimed the lives of their driver and everyone in the other vehicle. Additionally, Tkaczyk lost his leg as a result of the accident. All members of the band and crew survived. Since then, the band has faced an extensive road to recovery, both mentally and physically.

Just last month, The Ghost Inside announced their live return for one night only after telling fans to save a mysterious date.

The request came after the band shared a video update showing them recording in the studio. The video ends with a live video of the band from before their accident.

“Rising from the ashes for one night July 13,” the band wrote on their Instagram post announcing the show.

Tickets went on sale March 1 at 10 A.M. PST and sold out an impressive five minutes later.

If you missed out on your chance at snagging a ticket to this one night only gig, you may not be out of luck just yet.

The band took to their socials to provide fans with an update regarding the show and the potential of making more tickets available.

“Quick update: We never anticipated the possibility of selling out the Shrine in 5 minutes so we’ve been caught off guard in the best way possible. We are exploring every possibility to have more tickets available for this show. This will take a couple of days, so please be patient. We are absolutely not adding a 2nd night. Do NOT engage with resellers yet. Your support has, once again, overwhelmed us. Thank you.”

We love The Ghost Inside.
