Due to coronavirus, The Masked Singer‘s production was delayed indefinitely this year. Now, the Fox show is back and has started production for season 4. According to reports, all safe social distancing measures are being taken as production begins. Regular temperature checks for the cast and crew are also being checked regularly.

Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy are all returning as judges for season 4. As well, Nick Cannon is carrying on as host for the show despite criticism. Last month, Cannon was fired from Wild ‘N’ Out and other projects after he made Anti-Semitic comments during a recent podcast. Despite the situation, however, Fox decided to keep Cannon on as The Masked Singer host.

Fans can expect one big change in season 4. For the first time in its run, viewers at home will be part of a “virtual audience.” Fans can watch each performance and cast their vote on which masked contestant’s performance they enjoyed and who they want to see again.
