The Postal Service members revive track during Death Cab for Cutie tour

Death Cab for Cutie and Jenny Lewis have been on tour together, which means a mini-reunion of The Postal Service was bound to happen at some point.

And now it officially has.

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard recently uploaded a beautiful piano-led cover of Minor Threat‘s “Filler” that you simply have to hear.

The 1981 track comes from Minor Threat’s self-titled debut EP, which Gibbard reveals he’s covered only once before.

“I covered this only once at a solo show in D.C. in 2012,” Gibbard writes on SoundCloud. “I felt like recording and sharing it today. enjoy. xo Ben”
