The Pretty Reckless announce first tour since 2017–UPDATE

The Pretty Reckless are back. The New York-based rock unit will host a headlining tour this Spring.

The tour will be the Pretty Reckless’ first tour in nearly three years. It kicks off in New York on May 5. It was also confirmed that their new album Death By Rock And Roll is now finished.

2020 is shaping up t be quite a busy year for Taylor Momsen and the Pretty Reckless. The four-piece will be performing at many major rock festivals including Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple Music + Arts Festival and Rocklahoma. Now, they decided to add some more shows with the announcement of their new tour.

It started last week when Momsen said that their first big announcement would come on Feb. 17.

The Pretty Reckless also just finished their fourth studio album, Death By Rock And Roll. That was confirmed by Momsen in a recent Instagram post announcing the tour.

 

“It’s been a long time since we’ve been out there and we’re excited to hit the road this spring,” Momsen says. “The new record is almost finished, the songs are incredibly personal, but we’re ready to start sharing what we’ve been through the last couple years with the people that mean the most to us, our fans. See you all soon!”

The new record will allegedly feature can’t miss collaborations with numerous iconic artists. The Pretty Reckless plan to release a new single this Spring with the full album coming later this year. Death By Rock And Roll will be the Pretty Reckless’ first album since 2016’s Who You Selling For. It featured the singles “Take Me Down” and “Oh My God,” the former of which became their fourth single to top mainstream rock charts.

Tickets for the new tour go on sale Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. They will be available here. A full list of dates is below.
