'The Suicide Squad' director teases Harley Quinn return with Scrabble

With The Suicide Squad set for a 2021 release, fans of Suicide Squad have been wondering if Harley Quinn will make a return.

James Gunn is teasing fans with a social post of the crew’s game room that may prove Margot Robbie will be coming back.

Gunn shared a photo on Instagram of the crew’s game room, designed and set up by Microsoft.

The arcade, dubbed the “King Sharkade,” includes a Halo game, a pool table, a Guardians of the Galaxy pinball machine and plenty of other arcade machines.

It also has a giant Scrabble board attached to one of the walls. Gunn posted a photo of the board trying to connect “King Shark” and “Harley” together, leading fans to speculate the characters return.

Recently, it was revealed Idris Elba was expected to take on the role of Deadshot following Will Smith’s decision to not reprise his role.

It was then revealed that the character will be completely removed to allow Smith to return in a separate sequel.

Additionally, the team allegedly did not want to disrespect Smith by recasting his role. While the likelihood of Smith returning to the franchise looks slim, the Suicide Squad team thought it was better to be safe than sorry.

While this news may be disappointing to Elba fans, the film has since decided to cast him in another unspecified role.
