The Used are on an incredible run of newsworthy content. Besides announcing their new album Heartwork and dropping two absolute heaters in “Blow Me” and “Paradise Lost, a poem by John Milton,” the Used frontman Bert McCracken has been fueling rumors of a tour with My Chemical Romance.

To be incredibly clear, there is no indication that the Used have cancelled their UK/European shows because of this, but speculation is rampant.

The Used put out an official statement regarding the situation to their social media profiles.

Many fans are already speculating that the cancellations are due to something affiliated with My Chemical Romance but none of the dates make a lot of sense in terms of how they lineup. My Chemical Romance have a string of dates in March and then embark on their European tour in mid-June. The dates that the Used are cancelling are the end of May and the first week of June.

Luckily, we won’t have to speculate long because the statement does say that some big news will be coming as a soon as possible.
