The 1975 might have posted new song lyrics, and fans are freaking out

For the first time since July, The 1975 have posted to Instagram and sent fans into an absolute frenzy over their cryptic and captionless photo.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from the band after their manager, Jamie Oborne, shared on Twitter earlier this week that we might be getting a look at the new era VERY soon.

The band deleted months of posts from social media, with the last post showing the first official Music For Cars teaser, released July 14 of last year.

The 1975 Possible Lyrics

The 1975's Matty Healy is all about the teasing, of course. At the end of January, he tweeted “122 days.”

And what was in 122 days? 1st June. (The 1975. We had to.)

The band continued with their cryptic posts by sharing a photo on Instagram with what fans hope are new song lyrics.

Does this mean we'll be getting new music over the next few days? We hope so!

There's a lot happening for fans of the 1975 and whatever they have coming, we’re so ready.

The band’s second album, I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, dropped in February 2016. And at the end of last year, the band surprise released their new live album DH00278.
