'The Craft' remake coming more than 19 years after the original

It looks like the everyone's favorite teenage witches have another spell to cast. 

Honeymoon director Leigh Janiak will be heading a Craft remake script co-written alongside with Phil Graziadei, (via TheWrap).

The film originally starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell and Rachel True as a dysfunctional group of teenagers who remedied their issues through the supernatural.

'The Craft' has cast a new spell on Sony Pictures, which has hired 'Honeymoon' filmmaker Leigh Janiak to co-write and direct a remake of the 1996 movie about a quartet of teenage witches, an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.

Original 'Craft' producer Doug Wick will return to produce with  Lucy Fisher. Andrew Fleming directed the first film, which grossed nearly $25 million at the domestic box office.
