On the Toronto date of tour, the Damned's Captain Sensible fell off stage and broke a rib.

Due to these injuries, three of the band's shows have been postponed.

First, the Montreal date was postponed to May 23 and the Boston date was posted to May 24.

“Ladies and Gentlemen….How do.”
As I’m sure you’re all aware now, last night in Toronto, our fearless Captain took a spill off the front of the stage resulting in a broken rib. In an effort to “ Carry On Captain” we are postponing our Montreal and Boston shows to thefollowing dates:
Montreal: May 23, 2017
Boston: May 24, 2017
All tickets and VIP packages will be honored for these rescheduled dates.
Most importantly though is that our beloved Captain recover and resume his exuberant duties.
Let’s all keep up the good thoughts and positive wishes.

Now, the band have informed fans that “Captian's injuries still require more time before a performance can be attempted,” also postponing the Brooklyn show to May 23.

Dear Damned Community,
Unfortunately, Captain’s injuries still require more time before a performance can be attempted—thus some date juggling is forced on us.
Montreal, Boston and Brooklyn have now been rescheduled as listed below. Apologies to all affected, especially those that have made travel and hotel arrangements—we are doing our best in a very difficult situation—and appreciate your patience and continued good wishes for Captain’s healthy recovery.
All tickets and VIP packages will be honored for the following dates:
May 23 – Brooklyn, NY – Warsaw
May 24 – Boston, MA – Paradise
May 25 – Montreal, QUE – Club Soda (This has been moved from May 23 to May 25)
Many thanks playmates,
The Damned

Alternative Press wishes Captain a speedy recovery.
