The Decemberists to possibly do a Broadway musical?

A few years back there were talks of a Broadway musical in the making by The Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy but things fell through. Now it looks as if the ball may be rolling again. Billboard reports that Meloy has been talking with Green Day's American Idiot Broadway musical director Michael Mayer about getting something off the ground and "there's potential for a musical down the line, for sure."
