The distribution of heavy metal bands around the world, according to Guardian
The map above, posted to the Guardian's tumblr account, apparently breaks down the concentration of metal bands among the world's population and in something that's almost too easy, the highest concentration of metal bands per capita can be found in Scandinavia.
The map cites both the Metal Archives as well as the CIA's factbook in their research. Take it how you will.
