The Ghost Inside guitarist Zach Johnson is facing a potential surgery on his femur. The news was unexpected for everyone, as it was found when Johnson went in for a check-up on his pelvis/hip.

“Turns out my femur hasn't healed, could be due to infection, or just bad luck,” the guitarist said on his Instagram. “They're setting up an array of tests, which will more than likely end up in surgery again. Which would make it my 11th procedure.”

You can read Johnson’s post below. This comes following the Ghost Inside’s tragic bus accident last November that claimed the lives of two drivers. The band’s members were left in stable condition, but have all faced extensive recovery processes.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help TGI and their families during this difficult time. There is also a separate GoFundMe to benefit the family of TGI's deceased bus driver, Greg Hoke.
