The internet is telling Billie Joe Armstrong to wake up because September ended
If Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong wasn't already up and at 'em, all the Twitter notifications he's received today likely set his phone ablaze. Due to Green Day's single, “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” from their seminal 2004 release, American Idiot, the internet isn't letting Armstrong forget his own specific request as September's come to a close.
