The 'It' trailer mashed with 'The Cat In The Hat' will make you scream

When the trailer for the new reworking of Stephen King's horror tale It surfaced online, millions eagerly jumped to watch it.

People were so excited that it broke the record for the most viewed movie trailer in an initial 24 hour period with 197 million views, besting the previous record holder The Fate Of The Furious.

But now having had a few days on the internet, It's trailer has made its way around the world, and of course, the internet had to have some fun with it too.

In a horrifying twist that likely nobody saw coming, one YouTube user named But Without has recrafted the already iconic It trailer by substituting Pennywise with—get this—Mike Myers' portrayal of The Cat In The Hat.

Taking clips from Myers' live-action role in The Cat In The Hat and combining them with the new It trailer, suddenly our perception of both of these films becomes incredibly more disturbing.

Myers' maddening and borderline psychotic laugh as the Cat, combined with his intrusive character's nature somehow seamlessly blends a once loved childhood story with the classic horror story we know as It.

Check out the petrifying recreaton below, and try your hardest not to scream. It hits theaters Sept. 8, 2017.
