The Maine have announced that their fourth studio album is set for release June 4 and titled Forever Halloween. According to a post on the band's Facebook page, they will launch pre-orders and a brand new song (“Happy”) next Tuesday, April 16.
The album was produced by Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs and will be released independently in the U.S. with the band's management team Eighty One Twenty Three, and released via Rude Records internationally.
Of working with Benson on the album, frontman John O’Callaghan says, “To be seen and treated as an equal by someone you hold in high regard is a gratifying and refreshing feeling. [He] opened his studio doors, did that and much more which helped provide the platform to create an album we can now all stand behind.”
