The McNugget McBucket is real
For a limited time, select McDonald’s locations in Japan will be offering 48-piece McNugget McBuckets for 1,800 yen (roughly $14.69).

The promotion is in conjunction with pop group NGT48, who serve as a Niigata spin-off of the incredibly popular dance collective AKB48. The sets usually contain 48 members.
When NGT48 burst onto the pop scene earlier this year, fans immediately began referring to them as “Nugget 48.”

One year, in celebration of the Super Bowl, the fast food chain offered a 50-piece McNugget meal here in the U.S.
