The Neighbourhood share video for newest single, "R.I.P. 2 My Youth"

The Neighbourhood have unleashed the Hype Williams-directed video accompaniment to their most recent single, “R.I.P. 2 My Youth,” and it's of course fittingly moody in it's dark, black-and-white delivery that finds the band performing in some kind of subterranean tunnel system. The track—serving as one of the SoCal act's best to date—comes off of their upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2013's successful debut, I Love You. The new effort, titled Wiped Out!, will be available on October 30 through Columbia Records with pre-orders available now through iTunes.

When it first premiered last month, vocalist Jesse Rutherford explained of the single, “To be honest I think the lyrics kind of describe it the best. I think just hearing it is probably the best way to explain it. I feel like it could really go for all of us as far as what has happened in our life in the past couple years and the awesome opportunities we’ve been able to have. I think kind of reflecting back on it—growing up per se, whether you want to or not. Sometimes your youth—some people have it taken away from them earlier and some people get to wait a little longer before you have to grow up, but either way the world kind of hits you.”
