The New Amsterdams announce first show in four years

The New Amsterdams (feat. Matt Pryor of the Get Up Kids) have announced their first show in four years, scheduled for Mar. 23 at the Jackpot Music Hall in Lawrence, Kansas; Old Canes will support. Pryor had this to say about the show:

“I've been wanting to do a New Ams gig with Old Canes for ages. I've been so busy with The Get Up Kids and solo stuff that we haven't had time to do it. Since it was Crici (Old Canes) and my birthdays right around there we decided to do it now. So, in a sense it's actually our birthday parties.”

The band's most recent album, Killed Or Cured Appendix, was released in 2008.
