The Strokes announce first full U.S. show in three years

The Strokes are headlining one date of New York City festival Governors Ball, which will be held June 6-8 on Randall’s Island. The band have now announced  their first full U.S. show in three years (in advance of Governors Ball), playing the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, on May 31. Tickets go on sale this Friday to the general public, but there are pre-sales for the Strokes fan club on Wednesday.

The Strokes released their latest album, Comedown Machine, last year via RCA. Watch the band’s music video for “All The Time.”
