The Wonder Years share music video for affecting new single, "Cigarettes & Saints"

Pop-punk frontrunners The Wonder Years are set to release their fifth studio album, titled No Closer To Heaven, on September 4 through Hopeless Records. Today, the band is sharing a second taste of the new record following the lead single, “Cardinals.”

Musically and lyrically, “Cigarettes & Saints” is one of the strongest and most poignant offerings The Wonder Years have ever released in their scene-celebrated catalog. Facebook statuses are sure to be inundated with lyrics like, “Yeah, you were a storm that never rolled in / You were the northern lights in a southern town / A constant fleeting thing / I'll bury your memories in the garden / And watch them grow with the flowers in the spring / I'll keep you with me.” I'm not crying, you're crying!
