1. The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afriad To Die premiere “Marine Tigers” video

The World Is… just dropped a new video for “Marine Tigers” off their album Always Foreign, out September 29 on Epitaph. The song references singer David Bello’s father José Bello’s book Marine Tigers that details his immigration to New York from Puerto Rico in the '40s. “Marine Tiger was the ship that carried people from Puerto Rico, and so the white people in New York started calling all the Puerto Rican people ‘Marine Tigers.’ The idea of being named after something that you’re not excited about ties into that feeling of always being foreign,” says Bello. 4. Jetty Bones announce album, release single

Jetty Bones have announced a new EP, Old Women, set to drop on October 6 on Take This To Heart Records. They also released the first single with their anouncment, “No Lover.” They'll be on tour with the Wonder Years later this month.
