“These kids shred balls”—Such Gold begin work on their new album with producer Bill Stevenson

Melodic hardcore band Such Gold have entered the studio with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi) to begin work on their next album, the follow up to their 2012 debut, Misadventures. The album will be the band’s second release through Razor & Tie Records.

Such Gold vocalist, Ben Kotin says, “It’s been a great experience working with everyone at the Blasting Room. We’ve worked for over a year on this material and we’re extremely excited for our fans to hear the result.”

Stevenson comments, “This is one of the best records that I’ve worked on in the last five years. These kids shred balls.”

The album is also group’s first release as a four-piece, with Ben Kotin pulling double duty as vocalist and guitarist, and the introduction of new drummer Matt Covey, formerly of metal/hardcore act Shai Hulud.

Earlier this year, AP premiered a song from the band, “Framed.”
