As for the album, the band previously shared some insight as to the inspiration behind it.

“My current mood resonates with rebellion, energy, courage, and risk,” Jenkins said about the record. “I seek to combine it with a percussive level of musical immediacy in this collection of songs to cultivate collective idealism and an unapologetic aspiration towards humanistic values.”

The title track for the record also recently dropped, and you can listen to that below.

More Third Eye Blind news

Cassadee Pope, former Hey Monday frontwoman, just joined Third Eye Blindonstage to perform “Losing a Whole Year” after she was spotted in the crowd.

Pope, who performs country music now, was watching the band at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater with the members of Kings of Leon on the side of the stage.

Third Eye Blind singer Stephan Jenkins spotted her, and invited her to perform the track with the band.

You can see a video of the performance below.

Pope shared the experience on Twitter as well.

Never in a million years did I think referencing @ThirdEyeBlind in one of my songs would lead to me singing with them in my hometown to a sold out amphitheater crowd. Thank you @stephanjenkins for this opportunity of a lifetime. I won’t soon forget this magical moment,” she wrote. She also shared a video, which you can see below.
