Third Eye Blind frontman Stephan Jenkins jumps into tequila business

Third Eye Blind are currently on a summer tour with Jimmy Eat World, but before they get too far into the outing frontman Stephan Jenkins has something special to release.

Jenkins is announcing the launch of his very own tequila brand, Summergods, in partnership with master distillers Casa Maestri.

Summergods is a small batch tequila made by Jenkins in his “quest to find the ultimate blanco tequila.”

The drink is manufactured in Jalisco, Mexico and promotes sustainable agriculture and fair-trade employment practices. In it, you’ll note hints of Mint, hibiscus, cedar, spiced caramel, vanilla bean and more.

Jenkins provided a statement on the new product which you can read below.

“I wanted a tequila that I could enjoy with my friends and I couldn’t find it. I met with the master distillers at Casa Maestri and after testing and tasting multiple small batch samples with my friends, crew and bandmates, we decided to create the purest expression of tequila fueled by passion and a perfectionist attitude. Summergods is that result. We made Summergods to enjoy with our friends, and now we will share with you.”

The tequila will be officially premiering on July 10 at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar in New York City. Jenkins will also be performing a special acoustic set to celebrate the event.

He’s also hosting an event on July 15 in Atlantic City where he will perform a short acoustic set and give away bottles of the alcohol to attendees. Tickets are extremely limited with only 100 being available and can be bought here.

You can also purchase the tequila online here right now.
