According to Tech Times, some people say that activated charcoal can be good for the body, with the ingredient being added to waters and juices for detox.
But for most people, it’s just an Instagrammable treat. Shops including Little Damage Ice Cream Shop in Los Angeles and Morgenstern's in NYC, as well as Ihalo Krunch in Toronto, ON, are serving up the goth-inspired treat.
