This chart shows which music smart people and dumb people like

Software application writer Virgil Griffith has created a new chart of musical tastes that is based on the average SAT scores of different colleges. (The study is old, but the chart is new.)

As Consequence Of Sound points out, the chart was calculated by using the average SAT scores of specific colleges and then using Facebook to determine each school’s most popular (or “most liked”) artists.

According to the chart, smart people really like Radiohead, Beethoven (shocker) and Counting Crows. Dumb people like the Used, Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, AFI and Justin Timberlake. Check it out below, and let us know your thoughts.
