This new Converse collection actually reflects light

Music venues are dark—light up the concert floor with Converse's new collection of reflective shoes. Yes—these are as awesome as they sound. For the latest incarnation of Chuck Taylor All Star II, high and low top sneakers will be available in a reflective print that bounces striking patterns when hit by bursts of light in low-light environments.

By using inventive light reflecting graphics, Converse's traditional camouflage and stars prints are completely re-imagined, complete with Nike Lunarlon sockliner, nonslip padded tongue and micro-suede lining.

“When creating the latest version of our successful Chuck II sneaker, we were inspired by our consumers and being able to further enhance their creative and active lifestyles,” says Converse Product Director Ryan Case. “With the Chuck II Reflective Print, we’ve given our consumers a sneaker that provokes personal style while enhancing visibility in low light, enabling them to do more of what they enjoy throughout the day or night.”

Priced at $80 to $85, the new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Reflective Print Collection is available in camouflage on March 3 at retail stores and online. The stars print follows this April.
